Dr. James Feinstein is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Feinstein has pursued a research career focused on children with complex chronic conditions (CCCs), particularly those with severe neurological impairment (SNI). Dr. Feinstein is a fellowship-trained health services researcher and he has expertise with observational study design, large data analytic methods, secondary data analysis, and statistical programming. Dr. Feinstein’s long-term research goals are to improve medication safety and health outcomes for children with polypharmacy, with a focus on implementing and evaluating technology-based strategies to improve detection of adverse drug events in children with CCCs or SNI.
