Children's Hospital simulation program
Our hospital promotes better patient care by using innovative technologies and interactive techniques to teach essential cognitive and behavioral skills in a simulated clinical environment. This is done through instruction, team dynamics and hands-on participation.
Volunteer Clinical Faculty
The Volunteer Clinical Faculty at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus offers information on how to become a faculty member, find teaching opportunities and explore the range of benefits and activities available to the volunteer clinical faculty. Become a volunteer faculty member to help shape the future of pediatric medicine through education and collaboration.
Pediatric grand rounds
To help clinicians, medical students and healthcare professionals stay current on the evolving areas of pediatric practice, our hospital hosts pediatric grand rounds. These presentations occur every Friday, September through June, at 12:30 p.m., and they are free and open to the public.
Join us on the second floor of our hospital's Conference Center to experience this educational series where clinicians:
- Aid in future diagnoses of pediatric diseases by describing their etiology, pathogenesis and clinical presentation
- Educate attendees about current research and advances in clinical management
- Provide real-world context by identifying applications of basic research to clinical practice
- Reinforce key medical practices by reviewing principles and strategies related to illness prevention and health promotion in pediatric care
