Children's Hospital Colorado

PPE Online Event for Community Provider Partners

At Children’s Hospital Colorado, we continue to partner with primary care providers to care for kids in our community – especially during the pandemic.

We’ve been fortunate to gain access to PPE resources that was extended via donation to over 100 primary care practices throughout the region amounting to more than 7,000 pieces of PPE.

What PPE is available, and how do I request it?

Our first PPE distribution event took place in December 2020. When we offer it again in the first quarter of 2021, we will have the following PPE items available: face shields, gowns, N-95 masks (two models) and KN95 masks.

We will notify our community-based practices when we are able to do this again in early 2021.

PPE requests to your local public health department

Primary care providers can access this federal form and submit it to your local public health department to request PPE.

That entity will then process the request and work to secure the needed PPE at no cost. Please contact your local health department for complete details.

This PPE allocation letter from November 2020 (.pdf) also includes additional information relevant to Colorado providers only.
