Grand Rounds for Health Professionals

Pediatric Grand Rounds are held every Friday, September through June. One-hour presentations begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. and are held on the second floor of the Conference Center at Children's Hospital Colorado.

Pediatric Grand Rounds are provided by The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children's Colorado. Designated educational sessions award 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). For questions, contact Shaun Ayon at 720-777-2700 or by e-mail at

Pediatric Grand Rounds are free and open to the public. Lunch is provided for a nominal fee.

The global objectives of this series are:

  • Describe the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical presentation of pediatric diseases and research/advances in clinical management.
  • Identify applications of basic research to clinical practice.
  • Review principles and strategies related to illness prevention and health promotion in the care of children.
