We are trying to understand how offering a new food repeatedly (how frequently and for how long) affects how much of that food your child eventually accepts and how eagerly they accept it. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to come to the Children's Eating Lab in Aurora four times over a three-month period to see how much of the new food your child will eat.
You will be asked to complete surveys about your household, your child's feeding history and eating behaviors, and we will measure your child's weight and length. You will also be asked to offer the new food to your child at home 10 times over six weeks (food will be provided). You will receive a gift card at the end of each visit to the Lab.
Participant Inclusion Criteria
You may be eligible to participate if you are at least 18 years old and have a child between 9 and 12 months old, who was born full term and does not have a medical condition that makes feeding difficult.
