A place to foster powerful ideas and improve healthcare

As a nonprofit pediatric hospital, Children's Hospital Colorado's mission is to improve the health of children through high-quality patient care, research, education and advocacy. And because research and innovation are key to re-imagining and realizing the future of child health, we started our Center for Innovation in 2016.

Why create a Center for Innovation?

The Center for Innovation at Children's Colorado provides an opportunity for innovators to come together to develop groundbreaking ideas that will enrich and save lives through better technology and healthcare.

The Center helps to establish a clear path for venture development for all team members through education, incubation and acceleration. It also creates a conduit for industry collaboration to bring cutting-edge healthcare technologies to the front-lines of clinical care and enable partnerships with Children's Colorado innovators.

The goals of our Center for Innovation are to:

The Center will serve as a hub for innovation. It is a place where people come together for education, resources and services to enable the transfer of knowledge and products. Then, the very ideas and products imagined here at Children's Colorado will be developed for the benefit of pediatric patients worldwide.

What type of innovations are we looking for?

Children's Colorado will support the development of ideas that improve the health of kids, such as new drugs, medical devices, diagnostics and digital health technologies.

Engage with us at the Center for Innovation

From serial entrepreneurs to technical experts and venture capitalists, the Center for Innovation provides access to our network of entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIR), mentors and innovation managers to brainstorm ideas, develop strategies and plan development of your innovations. Come meet with us to discuss how to take your idea from "what if" to "what’s next."
