An app developed by a children's hospital for Android, iPhone and iPad

What should you do if your child develops symptoms like a fever, cough, vomiting, rash, sore throat or head injury? When can your child return to school or child care after an illness? Every parent or caregiver will encounter these medical questions at one time or another. After all, health problems can arise anytime: evenings, weekends, when you're at work, traveling or when your doctor's office is closed.

Children's Hospital Colorado designed the ChildrensMD mobile application for times like these. Our pediatric symptom checker and care guides help you make smart decisions on what level of care, if any, your child needs and how to provide speedy symptom relief for minor illnesses and injuries you can manage on your own.

You can find care options that best match your child's symptom quickly by using the alphabetical index, body area index or keyword search.

Advice and next steps may include Call 911, Call Your Child's Doctor Now, Call Your Child's Doctor within 24 hours or Manage at Home.
  • Immediate connections: Quickly connects you to medical help, such as 911, your child's doctor or nearby emergency rooms, as long as you have phone service.
