Mental Health Resources
We’re passionate about providing answers, treatment and care for the full range of female reproductive health concerns, from infancy through adolescence and into adulthood.
Supporting emotional health and addressing mood concerns are an important part of our medical care. We recognize that gynecologic conditions don’t just affect a person physically. Often, these diagnoses can impact us mentally and emotionally. Our team is here to provide the support and resources you or your child needs to live a full, meaningful life.
Pediatric Mental Health Institute
Our Pediatric Mental Health Institute provides mental health services for children, teens and their families. Our Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology team also partners with a psychologist who specializes in working with patients with gynecological conditions. Through our collaboration with our mental health experts, we can address both physical and mental health to ensure our patients get the highest quality care.

What to know about calling 988:
If you call or text 988 from a phone number with a Colorado area code, you will automatically reach Colorado Crisis Services. If you live in Colorado but you call 988 from an out-of-state phone number, you will reach the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline and may speak to someone in another state. While this can be confusing, remember this: Colorado families can call either number for help. What matters most is that you call.
I Matter Colorado
On the I Matter website, you will take a brief, confidential survey that will match you or your child with a mental health provider. You will be eligible to receive 6 free sessions, no matter your responses. If you are 11 or younger, your parent will need to fill out the survey with you. Parents can also use the site and survey to connect with a mental health professional.
If you have health insurance, go to their website, and use the “Find a provider” feature to locate an in-network therapist.
Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council (CBHC)
No matter where you live in Colorado, there are community mental health centers (CMHC) near you. You can find your local Community Mental Health Center here. No insurance necessary.
