COVID-19 Vaccines for Children 6 Months to 5 Years Old

After evaluating effectiveness and safety data, the FDA and CDC expanded the emergency use authorization of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to include young children.

The two-dose series of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is now available for children 6 months through 5 years and the three-dose series of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is available for children 6 months through 4 years.
