Children's Hospital Colorado is dedicated to reimagining and improving pediatric healthcare through research and innovation. Our team of nurse scientists conducts research and assists with evidence-based practice and innovative changes.

These efforts expand healthcare knowledge and advance the practice of nursing — and help us achieve our goal of providing the best care for children.

Nursing advancements

We partner with the University of Colorado’s College of Nursing to employ nurse scientists and operate the state’s only hospital-based pediatric nursing research fellowship. This strong academic affiliation provides opportunities for our nurses to achieve their professional goals while contributing to their field.
