Fexofenadine (Allegra)

You can take fexofenadine to relieve allergy, cold, and hay fever symptoms like:

  • Red, itchy, watery eyes
  • Runny nose
  • Sneezing

It can also be used to have treat the rash and itching from hives.

Dose:

  • Allegra Tablet: Take 1 pill (60 mg) twice a day.
  • Do not take more than two pills per day.

Extra Notes and Warnings:

  • This is an over-the-counter (OTC) drug. You can buy it at the drugstore.
  • This type of drug is an antihistamine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking erythromycin or ketoconazole.
  • This type of drug may cause you to feel sleepy. Do not drink alcohol, drive, or use dangerous machinery while taking it.
