Children's Hospital Colorado

About Your Bill, Insurance or Medical Record

Although your primary concern is your child's health, unfortunately, worries about the financial side of healthcare and keeping track of your child's medical information can follow quickly behind. Children's Hospital Colorado is dedicated to helping you understand this process and make good financial decisions for you and your family.

Paying your hospital bill just got easier

We recently made some changes to make the billing process simpler for families. Here’s what you can expect as of August 20, 2018:

A redesigned billing statement

Our new statements feature a reader-friendly format to help you make sense of your bill. The first page is an overview of your bill, including your amount due and payment due date. Subsequent pages provide a detailed breakdown of your outstanding account(s). See a sample bill (.pdf).

For any questions regarding your bill, please call or e-mail our Patient Financial Services department:

We are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Pay your bill online

New billing features on MyChart

It’s now easier than ever to access and pay your bill online. MyChart, our secure online patient portal, now includes the ability to access and pay your bill, view your account details, set up your own payment plan, enroll in paperless billing, and more.

If you currently have a MyChart account, log in with your existing username and password. Look for the Billing icon at the top of the page.

If you do not have a MyChart account, refer to your billing statement for your personal activation code, or contact Patient Financial Services at 720-777-6422 to have a code generated for you. Click the Sign Up Now button on the MyChart website, and complete the information to create your account. Once logged in, look for the Billing icon at the top of the page.
