Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine: Get Vaccinated at Children’s Colorado

Children’s Hospital Colorado has proudly partnered with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to vaccinate eligible Coloradans against COVID-19 according to the State’s vaccine distribution plan. Since December 2020, we have vaccinated nearly 50,000 individuals including healthcare workers, first responders, educators, school nurses, childcare workers, patients and community members.

Appointments open for ages 12+

We are pleased to make the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine available to our patients and community members ages 12 and older.

Please note: Children’s Colorado offers appointments for the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to the public. This is the mRNA vaccine schedule currently recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for non-immunocompromised individuals.

What about booster shots?

At this time, there have not been any official clinical guidelines issued from the CDC or Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about booster shots for the general public.

The CDC now recommends that patients who are moderately to severely immunocompromised receive a third dose as part of their standard COVID-19 mRNA vaccination schedule. We have contacted current patients who qualify for a third dose through MyChart. (More below.)
