“The unique perspective I bring as a psychologist is taking into consideration how the body and mind are connected. How do we take care of ourselves as a whole?”

Get to know her background

My clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of common childhood difficulties (e.g. toileting/feeding/sleeping difficulties, tantrums, noncompliance, etc.), more severe behavior problems, and parenting. I am also interested in addressing the psychological aspects of illness, including treatment adherence, chronic pain, and headache management. Additionally, I work with patients presenting with a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and academic difficulties, including anxiety and mood related concerns.

For Patients:
My research interests are primarily focused on evaluating how to better assess and treat the underlying factors that influence pediatric behavioral health difficulties.
For Referring Providers:
Central to my research interests are variables related to the development, display, and modification of disruptive behavior problems exhibited by children. I am particularly interested in studying proximal and distal associated risk factors and in establishing prevention strategies for such problems in childhood. My research lab at Children's Hospital Colorado has focused primarily on empirically evaluating the utility of a transdiagnostic approach to the assessment and treatment of pediatric behavioral health difficulties.
