Children’s Colorado participates with most major health insurance plans and national transplant networks.
Not all services may be covered by your insurance plan. Prior to your visit, please contact your insurance plan to verify your benefits and coverage. Your plan may have network restriction, co-payments, deductibles or other out-of-pocket expenses that will be your responsibility.
The specialists at Children’s Colorado are members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Please verify that the physician you will be seeing is a participating provider for your insurance plan.

These health insurance plans, which are available on Connect for Health Colorado, differ by county. Check Connect for Health Colorado to see which plans are available in your county.
In 2019, Children’s Colorado IS NOT included in the health insurance exchange plans listed below. Choosing one of these plans will mean paying much higher out of pocket costs if you get care from Children’s Colorado locations.
Because changes may not be immediately reflected here, please contact your insurance plan to ensure that Children’s Colorado and University of Colorado School of Medicine are participating in your health plan’s network.
Coverage limitations are dependent upon individual group contracts. Your insurance plan may require prior approval before services are rendered for coverage. You should contact the member services team for your individual insurance plan to ensure that approval is granted to minimize or eliminate your financial responsibility.
Children’s Colorado does not participate with health sharing ministries including, but not limited to: Samaritan Ministries, Christian Healthcare Ministries, Christian Care Ministry/Medishare, Liberty HealthShare and Altrua HealthShare.
