My care philosophy

One of the things that drew me to pediatrics was having the interaction with the family. It is so important to involve the family in all aspects of the patient's care. I love begin able to help families understand the disease process, treatment plan, and the best ways they can support their child or family member. I believe that knowledge helps families and patients feel more empowered and in control in what can feel like a very out of control situation. I feel honored to help kids and their families through this process.
