My care philosophy
I believe that empathy and a caring approach is key for a doctor and patient relationship. Communication and education are important, especially, prior a cardiac catheterization procedure when a parent is trusting their kid in my hands.

For Patients:
My research interests include 3D rotational angiography and other forms of three dimensional
imaging guidance and fusion imaging in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and its impact in
decrease contrast and fluoroscopy exposure to the patients and cath lab staff. Also, I’m interested in the timing
of pulmonary valve replacement (PVR), medium and long-term outcomes and innovative techniques and
imaging for percutaneous PVR.
For Referring Providers:
Innovations in the cardiac catheterization laboratory including: 3D fusion imaging, 3D printing from 3D rotational angiograms, Virtual Reality in the cath lab, low radiation approach to complex percutaneous interventions.
Development of alternative imaging for complex CHD like pulmonary vein stenosis, pulmonary vein stenosis systematic management (medically and interventional).
