COVID Vaccines and Kids (S4:E32)

The CDC formally recommended the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 for use in children ages 12 to 15, a final step toward making the COVID vaccine available to adolescents in the U.S. The approval of the vaccine for our adolescent patients is exciting. It also presents a unique opportunity for us, as pediatricians, to spend time engaging with families to answer questions, address vaccine hesitancy and share our confidence in this vaccine.
