Colorado Springs children needing after-hours urgent care services now have a new option with the opening of Children’s Hospital Colorado’s new Briargate Urgent Care center located at 4125 Briargate Pkwy. The center will offer urgent care services from 5 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, and noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
“We’re pleased to provide after-hours urgent care services to the families of Colorado Springs,” said Greg Raymond, Children’s Hospital Colorado regional vice president, southern Colorado care system. “As a parent myself, it provides peace of mind to know that there is a team of pediatric experts ready to help outside of regular office hours.”
Urgent care is the latest offering at the Briargate facility, also home to the Children’s Hospital Colorado Outpatient Specialty Care facility, which opened June 14, 2012. The facility offers a wide range of pediatric specialty care services including orthopedics, ear, nose and throat (ENT), cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, neurology, pulmonology, endocrinology, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, genetics, metabolic, as well as EEG, audiology, speech language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, radiology and lab services.
