I believe in providing care for children and their families in an informative and collaborative method. I strive to bring a healing sense of humor and fun to the practice of pediatric gastroenterology.
Get to know Joel Friedlander, DO
Experience and background
I take a special interest in helping individuals with inflammatory bowel disease, reflux, esophagitis, aerodigestive disorders, unsedated transnasal endoscopy, failure to thrive, and children that need endoscopic procedures performed.
My work in bioethics tries to improve the interaction and dialogue between doctors and their families so that the alliance between them is stronger.

My research interest in bioethics tries to improve the interaction and dialogue between doctors and their families so that the alliance between them is stronger during pediatric procedures and medical care. I also am clinically interested in improving pediatric endoscopic procedures and outcomes.
