Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Programs and Clinics
We’re passionate about providing answers, treatment and care for the full range of female reproductive health concerns, from infancy through adolescence and into adulthood.
We treat pediatric and adolescent patients across the spectrum of gynecological care, from having relatively common conditions such as heavy and irregular menstrual cycles, to more complex conditions like rare abnormalities of the female reproductive organs.
In the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Clinic, we collaborate with specialists from the departments of endocrinology, dermatology, lifestyle medicine and psychology. As the only adolescent PCOS clinic in the Rocky Mountain region, we provide a place where our patients and their families can learn about PCOS in depth, as well as receive personalized care based on their treatment goals. The PCOS Clinic is also a center for research that enables us to study and implement the most effective ways to treat and prevent PCOS-associated medical conditions.
The Spots and Dots Clinic
The Spots and Dots Clinic, also known as our Young Women’s Bleeding Clinic, provides subspecialty care for adolescents and young adults with heavy menstrual bleeding, as well as blood and thrombotic disorders. This clinic includes specialists from the departments of gynecology and hematology. Our clinic is recognized as a Clinical Excellence Program by the Foundation of Women and Girls with Blood Disorders based on the national expertise of our clinic’s team and the research they conduct.

Patients with DSDs and their families can benefit from a team of specialized experts that provide healthcare and counseling in one place.

Where to find pediatric and adolescent gynecology services
Many of our programs are recognized nationwide for the support, care and information they provide. Our Spots and Dots Clinic, for instance, is recognized as a Clinical Excellence Program by the Foundation of Women and Girls with Blood Disorders, based on the national expertise of the clinic’s team and the research they conduct. And Eliza Buyers, MD, along with the South Campus Gynecology Clinic, has received Children’s Colorado’s 5-star award for Patient and Family Experience in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
In addition to having talented and caring doctors, our clinics collaborate with different departments throughout the hospital, so we can offer comprehensive care that goes beyond standard treatment. And most importantly, our programs and clinic provide a sense of community where other patients and their families can learn from others’ experiences and receive support and guidance from those who have gone through similar medical journeys.
