Normal life looks a lot different these days, especially in healthcare. But there is one thing that hasn’t changed at Children’s Colorado: Your child’s health and safety are our highest priority. Kids need great pediatric care as much now as ever, and it’s for that reason that we’re reactivating services we temporarily suspended due to the pandemic. We are here to deliver safe, thoughtful, high-quality care for kids who need it. Learn what to expect – and all the ways we’re keeping patients safe.
If you're concerned that you or your child may have been exposed to COVID-19, please do NOT visit an emergency or urgent care location. Instead, call your doctor or our free ParentSmart Healthline at 720-777-0123 for guidance.
In life-threatening emergencies, find the emergency room location nearest you. For non-life-threatening medical needs when your pediatrician is unavailable, visit one of our urgent care locations.
We treat pediatric and adolescent patients across the spectrum of gynecological care, from having relatively common conditions such as heavy and irregular menstrual cycles, to more complex conditions like rare abnormalities of the female reproductive organs.
In the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Clinic, we collaborate with specialists from the departments of endocrinology, dermatology, lifestyle medicine and psychology. As the only adolescent PCOS clinic in the Rocky Mountain region, we provide a place where our patients and their families can learn about PCOS in depth, as well as receive personalized care based on their treatment goals. The PCOS Clinic is also a center for research that enables us to study and implement the most effective ways to treat and prevent PCOS-associated medical conditions.
In the Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic, we collaborate with specialists from the departments of physical therapy and psychology to provide care for girls, teens and women with chronic pelvic pain.

Patients with DSDs and their families can benefit from a team of specialized experts that provide healthcare and counseling in one place.

We collaborate on comprehensive and individualized care encompassing initial evaluation, medical and surgical management, psychological counseling, support and education for families.

Where to find pediatric and adolescent gynecology services
Many of our programs are recognized nationwide for the support, care and information they provide. Our Spots and Dots Clinic, for instance, is recognized as a Clinical Excellence Program by the Foundation of Women and Girls with Blood Disorders, based on the national expertise of the clinic’s team and the research they conduct. And Eliza Buyers, MD, along with the South Campus Gynecology Clinic, has received Children’s Colorado’s 5-star award for Patient and Family Experience in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
In addition to having talented and caring doctors, our clinics collaborate with different departments throughout the hospital, so we can offer comprehensive care that goes beyond standard treatment. And most importantly, our programs and clinic provide a sense of community where other patients and their families can learn from others’ experiences and receive support and guidance from those who have gone through similar medical journeys.
